George England is on his 2020 visit to the Northwest, including Sacramento, CA.  His ‘New Histories’ program will feature a unique setting of works spanning from the Baroque to the present on modern and historical guitars. Compositions by Hurel, Sor, Coste, Leroux, Dyens, and Satie will be performed. Sacramento Guitar Society is proud to host his performance on February 9th at the Brazilian Center for Cultural Exchange. About the Artist

Originally from Northern California, George England currently resides in New York City where he performs and teaches classical/modern guitar and theory. George is regularly engaged with the NYC-based Ensemble Music Humana, Sinfonia Spirituosa in California, and as guitarist with the Cantanti Project. Currently, Mr. England is faculty in guitar and musicianship at the esteemed Diller-Quaile School of Music, 92nd Street Y School of Music, Brooklyn Guitar School, and founded the Sacramento Guitar Institute.
